Sandy has a deep and committed love for her community and all of our citizens. She has worked to bring a diverse group together in a healthy, comfortable way that will have a lasting effect. She took on the task of renovating a park originally named for a once famous classical pianist, John
William "Blind" Boone who's story is an inspiration to all.

The fact that Sandy is so ordinary is what makes her extraordinary. Without a formal education in this area, she chose to take on a task because it needed to be done. Her accomplishments over the past two years have been remarkable, particularly without personal gain.
