Robert started the Making A Difference Foundation (MADF) in 1991 and today serves as its Executive Director. Over the last twelve years, he has helped 38,000 youth through the foundation. He allows for countless numbers of youth to come to MADF at no cost so that they can have a better future.
In addition, he helps on a personal level in whatever capacity is needed in the community. His home is open to youth who are in need of shelter in rough times, and he assists families who are in need of covering monthly expenses during extremely difficult periods. Robert goes above and beyond "helping our youth". He puts himself last and serves the community endlessly.
In 2000, Robert suffered a brain tumor. It did not look as if he would make it, yet he continued his work, holding meetings with staff and others in his hospital room so that the kids would be covered each day. This is just another example of how he puts those in need above anything else in life.
