Daniel Hernandez performs his heroism through his Spanish mission in North Vernon, Ind.
Daniel works a full-time job, but still manages to spend hours at the Mission every day.
When he is there, he tutors his fellow Hispanic-Americans in the English language. Sometimes he also takes people to the grocery store or to the doctor. He even takes them to and from church.
Daniel started training to be a pastor in 2002, having only been in the U.S. for 4 years and never attending school in English.
