Jasen Brown’s heroic act occurred in Febuary 2003, when he was on the way to his grandmother's funeral in Southern California.
Driving down the highway, Jasen spotted another car on the side of the road that was on fire. He stopped his car, ran to the car in flames, and pulled out two children in full cardiac arrest, saving their lives.
As a number of onlookers flocked to scene, Jasen returned to the flaming car to pull out a woman who was trapped. Jasen saved her life as well. If these acts weren’t enough, Jasen even administered CPR to a number of onlookers who were choking from the smoke.
Jasen is a firefighter and paramedic, but was off duty at the time of this accident. When his heroism was finished, he continued in his car to his grandmother’s funeral and made it just in time.
